His parents fled Ukraine during WWII, now Tidal Creek CEO is selling beer for relief

MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (WPDE) — The scene of hundreds of thousands of Ukrainians fleeing the country hits close to home for the co-founder and CEO of Tidal Creek Brewhouse in Myrtle Beach, so he’s selling a beer and donating 50% of the proceeds to Ukrainian relief.

“We had a dark lager, which is a European-type beer, that we actually had in tank, so we’ve repurposed that and called it ‘Slava Ukrani,’” Adrian Sawczuk said, which means ‘Glory to Ukraine,’ in English.
